Corey Metzger, PE
Corey is the founding Principal of Resource Consulting Engineers. He is experienced in the design of mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection systems for numerous building types, as well as managing design of MEP systems for large and complex projects. Corey seeks to move the design of building systems forward not just through the projects he works on, but also through active involvement in ASHRAE.
Clint Rabe, PE
Clint‘s background designing both mechanical and electrical systems allows him to bring a unique perspective to the design and construction process while helping him to identify potential project opportunities and pitfalls. Clint’s collaborative approach to the construction process is evident as he works to bring all parties to the table in developing the right project solutions. His conscientious and hardworking approach reinforces his personal commitment to making each project a success.
James Deeds, PE, LEED AP
Throughout his career James has earned accolades as a leader in both consulting engineering and company management. He has extensive experience designing and managing projects with ambitious sustainability goals, including multiple LEED platinum, net-zero energy, and renewable energy projects. His diverse market expertise includes higher ed, K-12, government, senior living and multifamily, hospitality, specialty lighting, and campus distribution.
Chuck Heldenbrand, PE
Along with his thoughtful approach to problem solving and leadership, Chuck‘s extensive experiences have exposed him to more than the traditional HVAC, plumbing and building systems. They include process engineering and all the challenges that come with it including industrial controls, NFPA and USDA regulations just to name a few. He’s also very familiar with higher education projects including Laboratories, Data Centers, Recreation Facilities and Central Plants.
David Repair, PE, LC, Assoc. IALD
David joined Resource Consulting Engineers after stints at several well-known firms. He has leveraged his degrees in Architectural Engineering and passion for innovative lighting to become a talented architectural lighting designer. David’s attention to detail, dedication to customer service, and collaborative leadership make him a go to resource for both clients and staff.
Jenny Olson
Jenny joined Resource Consulting Engineers as an electrical and lighting designer after significant experience at other firms. Her expertise extends across a wide range of project types and sizes. Her many years of exceptional architectural lighting design make her a valued asset to any design team. Jenny has consistently demonstrated a commitment to listening to clients and getting projects done right.
Brendan Harms, PE
Brendan joined Resource Consulting Engineers after graduating from Iowa State University. With a strong foundation in energy modeling, Brendan works with the rest of the team to design high-performance systems to meet the needs of their users. Brendan has been engaged in the design of multiple facility types, including K-12, higher education, municipal, residential, and hospitality. His attention to detail has allowed him to progress quickly in his understanding of building systems.
Matthew Eisner
Matt is a graduate of Iowa State University in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in data science. He was part of the ISU Honors Program and won past awards at ISU Hackathon events. He has a keen eye for project processes and a solid understanding of mechanical fundamentals.
Kortney Morgan
Kortney is a graduate of Buena Vista University and joined the firm as a project coordinator who organizes thousands of submittal reviews annually, filters production packages before they leave the office, coordinates internal/external functions of the firm, and makes life better for the office as a whole.
Bidisha Dutta, BSEE
After graduating from one of the premier engineering institutes in India, she jumped into power management systems at the industrial level and then further developed project management on the shop floor and assembly here in Iowa. Her experiences helps RCE to streamline electrical design development processes and clearly communicate what needs to happen to make a project successful.
Kate Hall, PE
Kate is a licensed professional engineer in mechanical engineering and a graduate of Iowa State University. She brings over 8 years of experience in energy modeling, analysis, and verification. Her knowledge and expertise is invaluable on projects where energy efficiency, sustainability, and leveraging utility energy incentives are a primary goal.
